The Shi Organic Farm Our mission is to educate the California local community with the concept of seed-to-plate farming and inspire people to become the producer of their food. We strive to increase our community's ecological knowledge and provide free organic food for those living under the poverty line to promote food security in our local community. Our farm offers volunteer opportunities every week to local communities. Corporations and local schools will have the opportunities to send their employees and students to our farm and learn a great deal about farming and our ecosystem. Through volunteering at our farm, people from our local community will obtain a deeper understanding of our healthy ecological system as well as the idea of local food production. Ideally, volunteers at our farm will become more aware of where does the ingredient come from when choosing their food.
